This was a family holiday to remember.
We spent the first two days as a family catching & releasing endless sailfish, mahimahi, and a marlin. Captain Chris’s boat Allure 2 is extremely comfortable, safe, and fast – and for a family without any background in game fishing, the experience was universally a good one. The expert crew made sure we not only caught countless large fish, we were also well fed & looked after throughout – together with excellent photography to capture those special moments – like my wife’s first sailfish! And at the end of each day, we stayed at their comfortable & well-appointed lodge, with a large pool & wonderful meals. And while Chris made sure our fishing expedition was a great success, his wife Liz crafted a fantastic week long holiday package which included climbing and viewing live volcanoes, time in heritage listed Antigua city, travel to Mayan archaeological sites, and visits to Lake Atitilan for an incredible cultural fix. To ensure everything went smoothly, Liz also lined up Luis to drive us & act as tour guide. It was without doubt the most professional, fascinating, & enjoyable family holiday we have been on – and one we will never forget. So, if all you want to do is chase game fish (with your friends) then a charter with Sailfish Oasis is perfect. What a treat the last few days were
— We were looking for something different for my brother Tracy's bachelor party and everyone agreed this was one of the best bachelor trips we could have put together. The cook and wait staff did a wonderful job & the food was superb. The grounds of the Lodge are in great shape and we really enjoyed the pool every afternoon.
