We just hosted and were happy to see Jason and Bruce back down here in Guatemala this time with friend Roman and Jason’s son Jennings along. They once again brought the blue marlin luck with them! A bit tough on the sails though we raised 9 over their 2 days releasing a handful along with several mahi bites with a nice one in the bin. Our second day 0ut we raised x 3 blue marlin releasing 2 from 2 bites and Jennings released his first and second sailfish!
84th ILTTA TOURNAMENT
Club Nautico de Guatemala hosted the 84th Annual ILTTA tournament here in Guatemala with 23 teams from around the world and we were happy to help host the event with the Lodge and Allure Il fishing the 4 day event. Congratulations to Team Pacific Fins and Maverick for taking out top honors!
SCOTT & BILLYE
Scott and Billye were on the fish releasing sailfish, missing a blue marlin from a couple in the spread, boated a few good mahi and enjoyed it so much they tagged an extra day on to their trip resulting in a beauty 216lb tuna!
SPIEKERMAN GROUP
Super bueno to host the Spiekerman Group down at the Lodge and offshore. 38 shots at sailfish the bite from a nice 300lb blue marlin and a couple of mahi mahi for the guys fishing 3 days!
COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL
Fishing 3 boats out of the Lodge this group of 10 had good sailfish action with multiple shots per boat adding up to 36 releases, they also released 2 blues from 4 bites and several mahi boated! They’ve already rebooked for next year and we look forward to hosting them again.
SHULTZ GROUP
Awesome hosting these guys for Nate’s graduation and the bite was going off for them, so good they extended their trip for an extra day. 82 sailfish bites a couple of nice blues released from 3 bites!
DAVID, KEVIN & CREW
Thanks to Kevin for spreading the word and their group extended to 7 fishing 2 boats this time around, they also decided that 2 days was not enough and tagged on an extra day. Over 30 sailfish released and a bunch of mahi mahi in the bin. They’ve already secured their dates for next year which says it all!
The summer fishing season is upon us and we’re looking forward to getting out there and targeting blue marlin, sailfish, big tunas and mahi mahi! Come on down and enjoy this special time of year with us, we have openings the second half of July and the first half of August. The Lodging, boats and fishing is second to none.
