ALLURE II WINS IN EL SALVADOR!!

ALLURE II WINS 28th EL SALVADOR INTERNATIONAL BILLFISH TOURNAMENT!

Nov 8th-15th Capt Jono Nicholas and the crew, Julio and Enio Morales ran Allure II to El Salvador to participate in the 28th ESIBFT. Allure II chartered to Miguel and TEAM RUMBA for the 3 days of the tournament and a couple of practice days before to get familiar.

They had a great x 2 days pre-fishing and and an inclining of where the fish were and took full advantage.

Over the x 3 days of the tournament they released an amazing 115 sailfish from 163 bites to win from Rum Line by 1 fish who released 114. A tight finish but enough to take out the win. A fantastic effort from the Jono and the crew and Team Rumba for taking it out.

TOMMY FIBICH AND SON’S

Nov 16-18th. The crew ran back on the 15th and straight into welcoming Tommy and his sons Greg and Todd for x 3 days of fishing and fun and that’s exactly what they did…

First day out they released 17 from 26 bites on sailfish and boated 6 good sized mahi and were back at the dock by 3pm, enjoying cocktails in the pool by 3:15pm.

They targeted marlin the next x 2 days and raised 3 including a couple of stonkers though couldn’t get them to switch to the baits….bugger. They did release another 10 sailfish as well as boded several more good mahi in the interim….Great trip for the crew out of Houston.
