That is an incredible 22 billfish releases per day per boat……

OCKER SUPERBOWL GROUP, 132 SAILFISH.

The Colin Ocker organized group of above has been coming down to the Oasis the past 8 years for Super Bowl weekend. This year they fished February 2-3-4.

Always a large time with these guys, this year was no exception with 164 campechana’s downed at the Lodge and 132 sailfish released fishing aboard Allure II, Captain Hook, Makina and Sails Call . Good fishing overall with plenty of large mahi’s in the mix…

And several marlin encounters including an 2 and half hour battle with a large black marlin on 30lb test that ended in heartbreak and some blue marlin bites.

A great last day out on the water with the above group with Jonathans late sons namesake ‘Jammer’ teaser red hot throughout the day, including raising 2 blues over the trip…

And an awesome Super Bowl party on Sunday night with the guys. Good times with a solid crew!!!

Fishing is good out there as of right now. We are booked solid through March and April is starting to book up. We’re predicting an excellent late season into summer here and don’t discount June-July-August for more shots at blue marlin, mahi’s, tunas and the ever ¬†present sailfish. Contact:
