ZANDER FAMILY

Walker, Kim, Cullen and Matthew Zander.

July 17-18th we fished with the Zander Clan in from Houston, TX. First time to Guatemala for them and they had a blast with flat seas, beautiful weather and good fishing!!

In two days on the water they raised 12 sailfish and released 6 from 9 bites….

And raised 7 blue marlin releasing 4 from 5 bites.

Along with 8 mahi mahi up to 15lb in the boat.

MUSSELMAN & HARVICK

John Musselman and George Harvick.

July 19-21 it was great to catch up with John again, and Georges first trip back since 2011, well overdue though he had a good one!!

In 3 days on the water they raised 31 sailfish and released 17 from 27 bites

And raised 9 blue marlin releasing 3 from 5 bites.

Along with plenty of tuna and mahi’s in between.

The blues were all between 150lb-300lb

Good times and good fishing with John and George….

Some good fishing right there! Typical summer time fishing with a good mix of pelagic’s out there, for the most part we were targeting blue marlin, and the good news was they were out there over a large area, from the east side of the pocket to the west side. The fishing should remain strong for the blues for the next few months through October. The sailfish bite was steady with the boats working areas targeting them having some good action. Also plenty of spinner dolphin holding tuna and the school sized mahi’s were thick. No such thing as an off season here in Guatemala!

We’re open and keen as to get out there, contact:
