Volcano Hike

Description

Guatemala is the land of the volcanos with 7 volcanos visible from the lodge on a clear day.

We can offer some of these options to you from your base at the lodge or we can take a trip to Antigua to experience them.

There are 2 volcanoes we can offer you for a family hike:

#1 – Pacaya – smaller / user friendly hike – only a few hours up and down

Toast some marshmellows as the lava flows beneath you!

#2 – Acatenango – bigger / more of an adventure – a full day to go up and down or camp there for the night. Spectactular views from the top overlooking Antigua and Volcano Fuego right next door (if you’re lucky).
